Mortgage rate went up on Wednesday as Fitch Rating downgrading U.S. long-term rating to AA+ from AAA citing the expected fiscal deterioration over the next three years along with the high and growing general government debt burden.
US 10 year Note went up to 4.20% on Thursday – highest since October 24th 2022.
The Unemployment Rate fell to 3.5%, down from 3.6%.
U.S.-based employers announced 23,697 cuts in July, a 42% decrease from the 40,709 cuts announced one month prior
